AI lead scoring

Definition

What is AI lead scoring?

AI lead scoring assigns every inbound enquiry a score, typically 1 to 100, from company size, decision-maker role, budget signals and behaviour such as visiting the pricing page or opening a proposal. Hot leads (80+) trigger an immediate call notification; cold ones enter an automated nurture sequence so salespeople spend their time only where it pays.

Enrichment feeds the score

Before scoring, tools such as Clay, Apollo or LinkedIn data fill in company details and the decision-maker's name. The AI also reads the prospect's website to infer size and needs. Verified data then lands in MiniCRM, HubSpot or Pipedrive.
